Everything was wonderful from check in to check out.

We are new to Jamestown and went to the Gladstone to swim. Approximately 45 minutes after arriving the maintenance man walks in and accuses me of ripping down a sign that said "pool closed and asked me if I could read. I explained to him I did not "rip" the sign down and he didn't believe me and again accused me of taking the sign down. I tried to explain that we paid to get into the pool area, I can read and did not rip down the sign. I also told him he cannot talk to me in this manner and I wanted to talk to a manager. He only then let me know that he was there to clean up glass in the pool (which he seemed mad that he had to do) and again said I shouldn't have ripped down the sign. When the hotel manager arrived, I was livid. She didn't apologize for the man's behavior or the fact that my kids had been swimming in a pool with glass in it for forty-five minutes and thought I had no right to be upset by the way I was treated. Unbelievable!

We had several guests in town for a family wedding. Friends and family arriving from far and farther needed a convenient and comfortable place to stay. The Gladstone staff was helpful and cheerful. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. We especially enjoyed being able to gather poolside and visit with our guests, even though we were not registered. The Gladstone is centrally located in downtown Jamestown and is a quick trip to any other spot in town, including major highways, shopping, Jamestown College, and visitor points of interest. We will certainly recommend Gladstone next time someone needs a place to stay in Jamestown!

You are doing a great job updating the place. I really like the new suites you have added. The pool area looks so fun and inviting. I like how we can be in the bar and the kids in the pool. I will recommend you to others.
